专利说明:

[0001] The present model refers to a system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap.
[0002] More particularly, the present invention relates to a system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap suitable to allow an easy and safe delivery of additive liquid substances such as for example detergent soap.
[0003] As is known, liquid substances, usable for example for personal hygiene or for disinfecting objects, are packaged in disposable or refillable containers, which are equipped with a pumping apparatus, generally located in the upper part , which is operated manually by the user whenever the latter wishes to dispense a dose of these liquid substances.
[0004] In the case of detergent substances, these containers are normally placed on the surfaces of the sanitary ware, which can be arranged to allow this support, and are operated repeatedly with the hands when the users have to wash themselves.
[0005] These containers and pumping apparatuses are normally made of plastic material and are very light and functional; however they have some drawbacks.
[0006] Among the most frequent drawbacks there are: the fall of residues of detergent substances on the support surfaces of the sanitary fixtures, and the subsequent formation of incrustations; risk of falling of the container if the pumping action is applied incorrectly, and consequent leakage of detergent substances or even breakage of the container itself.
[0007] Another drawback is that when these containers are exhausted, they create large quantities of material, usually plastic, which must be disposed of in special bins and prevent them from being burned by creating volatile substances which are highly polluting and dangerous for humans that spread in the 'environment.
[0008] In order to overcome these drawbacks, the same applicant has developed a system for dispensing additive liquid substances directly from a duct of a tap, by placing a container body of detergent substances in a place not in view, and provided with a duct of dispensing of the detergent substance placed inside the main duct from which the water comes out.
[0009] In practice, the duct for dispensing the detergent substance is made to pass directly inside the main water supply duct.
[0010] Although this idea of a solution is extremely convenient and easy to apply, it also has some disadvantages.
[0011] In particular, since the duct for delivering the detergent substances is always in contact with the water that comes out of the main delivery duct is necessary for hygienic and sanitary reasons, as well as for the fulfillment of precise safety regulations in the field of health, which the duct for dispensing the detergent substances is made of material suitable for the purpose, as well as that this material does not degrade easily in contact with water.
[0012] In addition, the choice of inserting the duct for delivering the detergent substances directly into the main duct for delivering the water lends the side to possible and undesired losses of these substances directly inside the duct main, thus going to contaminate the water.
[0013] As an alternative to inserting the duct for dispensing detergent substances into the main water duct, it has also been possible to place the duct for dispensing the detergent substance externally and beside the main duct. But even this solution has the disadvantage of being aesthetically unpleasant and can cause accidental tampering with the external duct.
[0014] It is therefore strongly felt the need to have available a system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap which allows dispensing of the detergent substances in complete safety, while at the same time preserving the aesthetic pleasantness guaranteed by having the duct for dispensing detergent substances hidden from view, which can guarantee easy compliance with health and hygiene standards, eliminating the possibility that in case of damage to the dispensing duct of detergent substances, these may contaminate the water supplied through the main duct.
[0015] The object of the present invention is to provide a system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap having structural and functional characteristics such as to satisfy the aforesaid requirements and at the same time to obviate the aforementioned drawbacks with reference to known technique.
[0016] This object is achieved by means of a system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap in accordance with claim 1.
[0017] The dependent claims outline preferred and particularly advantageous embodiments of the system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap according to the invention.
[0018] Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become clear from reading the following description given as a non-limiting example, with the aid of the figures illustrated in the attached tables, in which:<tb> Fig. 1 <SEP> shows a schematic view of an apparatus with a system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap in accordance with the present invention;fig. 2 <SEP> shows a section view taken along the plane II – II of fig. 1;fig. 3 <SEP> shows a schematic view of an apparatus with a system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap in accordance with an alternative embodiment according to the present invention.
[0019] With reference to fig. 1, 1 globally indicates an apparatus with a system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap in accordance with the present invention.
[0020] The system for dispensing additive liquid substances comprises in a completely general manner: a main hollow duct 2 provided with a dispensing mouth 8, a container body 3 of additive liquid substances provided with a filling opening 4, a delivery duct 5 of the additive liquid substances and thrust means designed to pump the additive liquid substances along the delivery duct 5.
[0021] Preferably, the container body 3 can be placed in a non-visible area, such as under the sink.
[0022] Naturally, it is possible to provide for the use of a plurality of delivery ducts which can supply various additive substances. Therefore, when we talk about the additive liquid delivery duct in the singular it is to be understood also with the possibility of several supply ducts.
[0023] Which additive substances can be included by way of example and not limited to: liquid soap, toothpaste, shampoo, disinfectant liquid, etc .; moreover it is possible to foresee the use of food supplements as additive substances.
[0024] In accordance with a first embodiment of the following invention, the main duct 2 is provided internally with a hollow baffle divider 6 arranged to divide the main duct 2 into a first 6a and a second 6b channel hydraulically from each other insulated, in which the water is passed into the first channel 6a, while inside the second channel 6b the delivery duct 5 of the additive liquid substances is passed.
[0025] In practice, the dividing septum 6 divides the main channel within which water traditionally passes into two distinct channels.
[0026] From the constructive point of view, the dividing baffle 6 can be made in such a way as to divide equally the section available for the first and the second channel 6a and 6b, or in a non-symmetrical way. For example, if it is desired to have a higher water flow, the dividing partition 6 will be constructed so as to leave more space for the first channel 6a where the water passes, whereas if it is desired to give more space to the delivery duct 5 of the liquid substances additive, the dividing partition 6 will be made so as to leave more space for the second channel 6a.
[0027] The dividing septum 6 must be made so as to guarantee perfect hydraulic sealing, so that in the case of leakage of the additive liquid substances, the latter, although it may disperse within the second channel 6b, never comes into contact with the water that crosses the first channel 6a.
[0028] In accordance with a second embodiment of the following invention, the main duct 2 is traversed not only by the delivery duct 5 of the additive liquid substances, but also by a flexible tube 11 through which the water passes.
[0029] In particular, the water flexible tube 11 passes side by side with the delivery duct 5 of the additive liquid substances.
[0030] In practice, both the flexible tube 11 for the water and the delivery duct 5 of the additive liquid substances pass through the main hollow duct 2.
[0031] The water hose 11 is arranged so that it can escape from the outlet 8 of the main duct for at least a certain distance.
[0032] Furthermore, the flexible tube 11 can be removably associated with the main duct 2.
[0033] Preferably, at the free end of the flexible tube 11 from where water flows out, use is made of a dispensing shower head 9 shaped to be coupled with the main duct 2 in correspondence with the dispensing mouth 8.
[0034] The coupling system between the shower head 9 and the main duct 2 can be of the type known in the field, such as for example interlocking with pressure insertion.
[0035] In order to facilitate the maneuverability of the shower head, as well as its extraction from the outlet 8 of the main duct 2, it is possible to provide a grip zone 10 accessible from the outside.
[0036] This gripping area 10 may have any anti-slip knurling.
[0037] In practice, when it is necessary to have the water dispensed at a point distant from the outlet 8, the user extracts the flexible tube 11 from the main duct 2 by gripping the shower 9 hooked to the main duct 2 ; once delivery is complete, it will be possible to place the flexible hose 11 inside the main duct by replacing the shower head 9 to the main duct 2.
[0038] Essentially, the flexible tube 11 has an overall length sufficient to allow the shower head 9 to be removed for a predefined length.
[0039] The material with which the flexible tube 11 is made must be able to ensure perfect hydraulic sealing, so that in case of leakage of the additive liquid substances, the latter, although it may be dispersed within the main duct 2, never goes in contact with the water passing through the hose 11.
[0040] It is also preferable that the delivery duct 5 of the additive liquid substances is also made of a material sufficiently resistant to wear and rubbing which could be subjected to when the flexible tube 11 is operated.
[0041] In accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the delivery duct 5 of the additive liquid substances flows into an additional hole made on the wall of the main duct 2, preferably in the vicinity of the dispensing mouth 8, but in a sufficiently large point from it.
[0042] In this case, for the first embodiment discussed above, it is preferable that the second channel 6b in which the delivery duct 5 of the additive liquid substances passes is obstructed. In this way, any leaks of additive liquid substances inside the second channel 6a cannot escape from the outlet.
[0043] The occlusion of the second channel 6b can take place at the outlet 8 or at a more backward point, in correspondence with the additional hole from which the additive liquid substances are dispensed.
[0044] Alternatively, the delivery duct 5 of the additive liquid substances can be made to flow from the dispensing mouth 8.
[0045] Clearly, in the latter case, as regards the first embodiment, the second channel 6b cannot be occluded and the dividing partition 6 will extend as far as the outlet mouth 8 of the main duct 2; while as regards the second embodiment, when the dispensing shower head 9 is fixed to the main duct 2, it is necessary to prevent this position from occluding the outlet mouth of the additive liquid substances from the delivery duct 5.
[0046] For both embodiments, the additive liquid substances are dispensed by activating the thrust means, which in the examples illustrated are constituted by a pumping element 7 mounted on the main duct 2.
[0047] This pumping element 7 can comprise, by way of example, a pump with manual operation or with an electric / electromechanical drive, according to the preferences.
[0048] Furthermore, it is also possible to use a photocell which, when it detects the presence of a body at a certain distance, activates the pumping element 7.
[0049] As can be appreciated from what has been described, the system for dispensing additive liquid substances from a duct of a tap according to the present invention allows the requirements to be satisfied and the drawbacks mentioned in the introductory part of the present description to be overcome with reference to the known art.
[0050] In fact, the system, according to the present invention, allows dispensing detergent substances in complete safety thanks to the physical separation between the detergent substances delivery duct and the water.
[0051] In this way, said system can also be used on the taps from which water is taken for human consumption.
[0052] Furthermore, the duct for dispensing detergent substances remains hidden from view, so as not to interfere with the design features of the faucets.
[0053] Obviously, to the system described above, a person skilled in the art, in order to satisfy contingent and specific needs, will be able to make numerous modifications and variations, all of which are included in the scope of protection of the invention, as defined by the following claims.
